Bitcoin is gaining back important support levels, after falling to a low of $29,278, it began a rapid upward move that led to a high of $32,858. This created a bullish engulfing candlestick. In addition, it reclaimed the $31,300 horizontal support area that previously had been in place since May 19. This is a bullish development since the area is now expected to act as support again.
Bitcoin (BTC) Bitcoin is now trading at 32,529 USD (all data from Coingecko.com).
Ethereum (ETH) broke above the level 2,000 USD, adding another 3% since yesterday
PlatonCoin (PLTC) is now at 0,47 USD.
Total marketcap is currently at 1.382 trillion USD, slightly growing.
Elon Musk: Speaking at the B Word conference on Thursday, Elon Musk confirmed that he held a couple of cryptos. The digital assets he held included bitcoin, ethereum, and no other than Dogecoin.
Bitcoin ATMs: Bitcoin Depot announced today that more than 700 of its Bitcoin ATM machines had already been installed at Circle K convenience stores in 30 U.S. states as part of the new partnership. The crypto ATM distributer said the expansion could provide underserved communities with financial access tools and attract more people to the crypto space.
NFT: On Friday, coinciding with the Summer Olympics opening ceremony, Muhammad Ali Enterprises and the fine auction house Sotheby’s will be auctioning a non-fungible token (NFT) that features a never-before-seen piece of original artwork created by Muhammad Ali. According to the announcement the digitized NFT artwork depicts Ali’s interpretation of the infamous 1971 ‘Fight of the Century.’
El Salvador: Protesters have taken to the streets of El Salvador in anger at the government’s plans to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. El Salvador is continuing to push ahead with its radical proposals to give Bitcoin the same status as the U.S. dollar. The Bitcoin Law is due to come into force on Sept. 7. Last month, it was announced that every adult who downloads the government’s official electronic wallet will be rewarded with Bitcoin worth $30.
